PRENATAL CLASSES
We offer small classes in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Classes include a variety of teaching methods to accommodate individual concerns, questions and learning styles. Our goal for every class member is to help facilitate a positive birth experience through evidence based information and exploration of options.

to our newsletter "The Changing Times" and access to our lending library.
Your course options include:
Eight Week Course
Eight evening classes that include:
- One class to discuss how to have your best possible pregnancy (1st or 2nd trimester)
- One class of breast feeding education (2nd or 3rd trimester)
- Six classes to prepare you for labour, birth and postpartum. (3rd trimester)

Weekend Course
An intensive weekend course equivalent to our 6 weekly sessions (Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday). Fee includes pregnancy & breastfeeding classes - scheduled separately.

Private and Semi-private Classes
Private classes can be arranged to meet individual needs, from a two-hour refresher class to a comprehensive course that includes breastfeeding information.

Breastfeeding Class

Topics include advantages and joys of breastfeeding, practical how-to advice with an excellent video component, common challenges and growing with breastfeeding.

Childbirth Kingston is affiliated with the International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA). We are a registered charity, operated by a volunteer board of directors. Our fees are kept as low as possible and are supplemented by fund-raising projects. Subsidies are available.

"What I like about Childbirth Kingston classes was the balance between facilitator led portions, group work and couple's work. The scope of information was excellent, covering pre-natal, labour and birth and postpartum issues.
